Sweet Baby Boy Newborn Session | NOVA Newborn Photographer

This little guy’s mom found me on Google and contacted me to schedule his newborn session. This little fighter was born at 24 weeks and was almost five months old by the time he graduated from the NICU and got to go home. They wanted some studio portraits of him as well as a lifestyle newborn session with the whole family later on. He is baby number seven for this family and his siblings love him to pieces! I offer clients the option for studio newborn portraits or a lifestyle session in their home. A family may opt for an in-home session if they have other children and feel they may be more relaxed in their own home.

I captured a mix of baby and parent photos the day of his session. He loved being in his parents’ arms the most! Baby details and emotions (like yawns and stretches) are some of my favorites and I love how they add an extra sweetness to a baby’s newborn gallery. Sometimes older babies are a little less sleepy or curled up, but this baby was just a few weeks off from his original due date and did a great job during his session! I have no problem scheduling a newborn session for an older baby. These are my favorite images from the studio portion of his session!
