Northern VA Maternity Photography- I am obsessed with this modern maternity session I shot recently! I knew I had to share it on the blog as soon as possible. 

Mom wanted a contemporary take on studio maternity photography for baby number two, which I was so excited to create. We worked together to style some beautiful looks that would enhance her curves with a fresh elegance. 

The pieces the family wore are a mix of my studio wardrobe and their own items. I love the contrast of the black wardrobe with the starkly white studio. Of course, the monochromatic look of the cream and white tones were stunning, too! I was in awe of how the light and shadows accentuated her shape. Maternity photography is about celebrating our shapes and the incredible things our bodies can do, and this shoot embodies all of that magic.
