For the past few years,  I have been honored to be featured at The Southern Baby Show. The show runner was not a mom yet herself, but a brilliant business woman who created an amazing, elegant vendor show for local baby focused businesses as well as local families of little ones. Over the years, Ashley proved to be a supportive friend and cheerleader as I kept growing my own business in Charleston. Since moving to Gainesville, VA, I have also been fortunate to meet some amazing people in the Northern Virginia and DC metro area and hopefully I will find a similar vendor show here. When Ashley sent me an email to let me know her first sweet baby was on the way, I was overjoyed! I love any reason to go back, but to be asked by someone with so many resources and options at her disposal, I was humbled and honored. Since I was traveling, we focused on a lifestyle session in their new home as well as incorporating my simple, natural posing for baby’s portraits. A beautiful family, adorable nursery, a perfect baby girl and it all came together! This sweet baby girl is going to be fierce just like her mother 😉

This beautiful nursery was designed by mom and dad and incorporated neutral modern design, coral and navy colors and whimsical jungle animals. The framed dress was a special gift from Claire’s late maternal grandmother before she was even a twinkle in her mom’s eye. There was so  much love and comfort in this space.
