This was the final newborn session from mine and Bethney Backhaus‘s Simple and Pure Newborn Workshop 2021!

This beautiful, new family of three were an absolute pleasure to work with. This worksop session was more focused on close ups of the baby and family posing. I always talk about the importance of natural, lifestyle photography– the goal is for families to look like they’re not too posed. Having some genuine, candid moments are key!

This Simple and Pure Newborn Workshop was such an incredible experience all around. Being able to stay in the beach house hosted by Alice Thigpen was an incredible cherry on top of such a wonderful weekend! I hope that all the photographers who came for the workshop made great connections and learned some tips and tricks– I can’t wait for my next workshop.
