Northern VA- Welcome to your home, little one!

This was a traveling session– I went to Mount Sidney in Northern VA to do this lifestyle newborn session! Their incredible home is a remodeled, 100+ old house that they took and turned into something truly stunning. I was honored to be able to photograph them there!

This mama is a jack-of-all-trades: she is a wedding photographer in Northern VA doing beautiful and timeless work, and she also did her own hair and makeup for this session! Talk about a superwoman.

For this lifestyle newborn session, mom did choose to wear a dress from my studio wardrobe. I love offering the studio wardrobe to all my clients because it’s one less thing for them to worry about, and the last thing I want is for you to feel stressed on the day of your session! You deserve to feel calm, pampered, and beautiful.

This was such an amazing session, from the precious little expressions from their newborn to seeing how much love mom and dad had for their new family of three. Lifestyle newborn photography is for genuine, organic family interactions! Mom’s a pro already, taking endless photos of her baby.
