Newborn Photography DC – 7 weeks
A lot of photographers will only take babies under two weeks old as “newborns”. While I agree that the younger babies have a higher chance of cooperating for the curly, sleepy images we want, older babies are not something to be feared! This little doll was 7 weeks old and she was so good to us.
I was teaching another photographer that day at a 1 on 1 mentoring workshop here in my studio. We were able to get a lot of variety and I think my mentee, Leslie, walked away with some amazing images as well as helpful knowledge on how to work with babies that aren’t sleepy the entire session.
