We have been really lucky this year. We knew we would only live in Montgomery for about 10 months and figured it would be hard to meet new people since we were only here for a short period of time. Well we were wrong – We now have so many good friends here – it is going to be hard to part ways next month!! When we got here, the wives/mommies got together and formed a playgroup for the little kids. We have been so lucky to be a part of this weekly fun time for the kids (and moms!!). We have come to know everyone so well and I hope we can keep in touch as we scatter to all parts of the world (we did find out that a few friends are headed up to the DC area with us!).

The N family will hopefully join us up there next year! R has had such a fun time playing with these two cutie boys and mom and I clicked right off! I”m so glad I was able to meet up with the whole family and have some fun with them. The weather was kind to us – cool and breazy (if the last few weeks are any indication – it”s going to be a HOT summer in AL!).

I have a few more sessions to blog this week and this weekend we are flying up to the DC area for a quick house hunting trip – cross fingers that we find something we want to call home for the next few years!!
