Northern VA Newborn Photographer- I just love this in-home lifestyle newborn session. I am always so grateful to be invited into the home of my clients, and I know how special it is to document your newborn in your own space. 

This sweet baby girl had a full head of dark hair, and that’s not something I see too often with newborns! It’s always fun to put bows on their heads, but that hair makes it somehow even cuter. It’s also so funny how wild newborn hair can be– after one nap they can have a mohawk! Luckily for us during the session, this little one’s mane wasn’t too wild. 

I was in awe of how stunning their Fairfax, VA home was. Between the gorgeous lighting and impeccable decor, I could not have asked for a better space to work as a photographer. It was right before Christmas, and I think their glimmering tree in the background of some of the shots is so lovely.

In addition to how their home was styled, this family beautifully styled their own looks for this session. I loved the neutral tones they chose and how they even gave their pup a little bandana to match! Baby’s monogrammed outfit was the perfect finishing touch. All in all, they make a gorgeous family.
